wiki's and blogs in education

I am a high school special educator who does a lot of consultant teaching, especially with the Social Studies and English teachers. I have just recently learned about wiki's and blogs and wonder if teachers that use this in their classrooms would be willing to share ideas/lessons on how they incorporate this effectively in their classrooms.
